Where they really differ
Minimum spend
AroFlo's pricing card says $80 per user a month with a minimum of three users, cheaper per user as you add more. ServiceM8 has no minimum: its paid plans charge by jobs, not people, and a crew of eight doing 30 jobs a week pays $72 a month ex GST. (AroFlo pricing, checked )
Getting started
ServiceM8 lists no setup fee and offers a 14-day trial without a credit card; paid setup help from a partner is optional. AroFlo charges a start-up cost from $1,450, or $2,900 with implementation, and offers a demo rather than a trial on its pricing page. (AroFlo FAQ, checked )
Stock and projects
AroFlo includes stock control, inventory kits and Gantt-chart project management on every account. ServiceM8 lists barcode scanning and supplier imports but not stock control, and doesn't list purchase orders. (AroFlo pricing, checked )
Who each is built for
AroFlo says it is built for trade businesses from sole traders to operations of more than 40 technicians, and leads with compliance, stock and project work.
